    As we look forward to celebrating Independence Day, we wanted to share Nathan's story! 💙 One thing Nathan really enjoys is sharing his appreciation and pride for our country and freedom. Every summer, he attends the AbleLight Mountain Builders Camp in Colorado. Nathan's love of the National Anthem was so inspiring that the camp volunteers planned a surprise for him!     AbleLight is excited to welcome John Carreon as our Chief Advancement Officer! In this role, John will be leading the Development and Marketing & Communications operations and activities. John brings over 29 years of executive leadership experience. He has developed a career focused on nonprofit sustainability, strategic planning, organizational development, leadership coaching, and much more. Prior to joining the team at AbleLight, John was Co-CEO of Advancement Experts, a consulting firm dedicated to helping organizations build a culture of philanthropy. He also has previous experience in leadership roles at Purpose HQ and Make-A-Wish Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana. Welcome to the team, John! ⭐

    Congratulations to Chris, a new employee at the Eau Claire AbleLight Thrift Shop! ⭐ Chris started out in the volunteer program at the shop. Over time, she started working with a job coach to move towards an employee position in the store. She was recently officially hired onto the team and works fully independently!
