Our property managers kicked off summer in style with their June resident events! 🍔 606 Blue's property manager whipped up all the summer BBQ essentials, including burgers, hot dogs, mac and cheese, corn, and more. 🏙️ Low-Line Commons celebrated the phase 3 opening with an Open House & Resident Event on the rooftop. Both prospective and current tenants enjoyed food, drinks, and rental specials! 🍨 Wicker Park Connection residents enjoyed delicious ice cream from The Original Rainbow Cone while soaking up the stunning skyline views from their rooftop. 🥯 Motif on Belden residents started their day right with a breakfast bar featuring bagels, donuts, fruit, and other grab-and-go treats. Treating our residents is one of the most rewarding parts of our job. A big thank you to all the property managers for their thoughtful and creative events!

Today, we commemorate Juneteenth, which marks the emancipation of enslaved individuals in the United States since 1865. To honor this significant day, our team members wore the colors of the Pan-African flag yesterday, a symbol often seen at Juneteenth celebrations. The Pan-African flag, adopted by the Universal Negro Improvement Association (UNIA) at a conference in New York City in 1920, carries deep symbolic meaning: ❤️ Red represents the blood shed by Africans who died in their fight for liberation, and the shared blood of the African people. 🖤 Black represents melanin, the soil of the Nile valley and the unification of the African diaspora. 💚 Green is a symbol of growth and the natural fertility of Africa. In honor of Juneteenth, our offices are closed today and will reopen tomorrow. We invite everyone to reflect on the importance of this day in our history!

Last week, Janh Juliene Gaffud, 33's Director of Property Management, took the stage at the Bisnow Multifamily Annual Conference Midwest. 🎤 We were proud to have a table full of our team members representing 33 at this event.
