This is a great solution for professionals who want to leap to the next level or break into a new area. If the answer is no, consider recapping your volunteer experience in your professional summary.

Remember to quantify your experience whenever you can to emphasize key skills, experiences, and accomplishments. When quantifying think about the specific numbers and percentages and think about providing scope. Adding scope can be a great way to quantify when you don't have those exact numbers or percentages. For example if you lead volunteer meetings, consider adding scope regarding the number of people how often the meetings happened.
