At the Ministry of Textiles, I conducted data analysis to monitor scheme performance. Selection of data collection methods eventually ensures the quality of data. I have experienced data collection using tablets and phones. In one point, using these techs to collect data helps the researchers to keep a track of it, but chances of data going missing due to instrument failure is also a problem. Whereas the traditional method of using pen and paper is somehow less cost intensive and needs less training for the field collectors. But it is time consuming and even resource intensive.
