Meeting sales deadlines is crucial for the success of any team. When you notice team members struggling, it's important to step in as a sales coach to guide and support them. Helping your team manage their time effectively can not only boost their performance but also contribute to the overall success of your organization. Understanding the root causes of missed deadlines and implementing strategies to overcome these challenges will ensure your team stays on track.
Delve into the reasons behind missed deadlines by having one-on-one conversations with your team members. This personal approach allows you to uncover specific obstacles they may be facing, such as unclear goals, workload management issues, or personal challenges that impact their performance. By identifying these issues, you can tailor your coaching to address each individual's needs, ultimately helping them improve their time management and meet their sales targets more consistently.

Usually when a team member is struggling to achieve their goals it is because they see it too big, even overwhelming. My favorite technique to tackle big and overwhelming goals as always been: Chunk it down! Meaning breaking it down in more manageable pieces or parts or action steps. For example; $100,000 for the year is also around $8,000 a month. Too much still? Chunk it down more: It's $2,000 per week Or $400 a day Or $200 in the morning and the $200 in the afternoon. All of a sudden the big goal becomes achievable and enables you to start taking action which is the key to achieving any results. Let me know how this techniques helps you. Onward!
