My team enjoys flexible schedules and can work fully from home on certain days. While IOP groups are structured, time outside face-to-face contact is more flexible. I encourage short walking breaks and coffee time. I also understand how this can boost productivity especially for neuro divergent staff. Staff get an hour to document, plan, and provide case management for every face-to-face hour with clients. Though not always easy, exceptional treatment requires time, a priority I take seriously. I've never denied a time-off request, even if it means covering their tasks myself. Your time off is your time off!
