In addition to the above; 1. Believe in yourself: it's very easy to lose self confidence after a layoff, but that's the biggest killer one needs to avoid. 2. Seek family support: share your mental state with your near and dear ones. Family is the greatest support in crunch times. One should garner it. 3. Accept a lower offer if it's immediate: discontinuity is bad both for career, personal finance and takes a mental toll. One should look at joining immediately and then strive to grow. Thanks.
