The brand of the company does not matter as much as the brand of the agent you will be supporting. Identify the people/teams who are selling the most homes in your area on Zillow or ratemyagent and contact them 🤙 Regardless of the firm they represent.

Absolutely! Firm reputation is a key factor in choosing a real estate internship. A respected company adds prestige to your resume, benefiting you down the line. Research their market presence, project types, and industry standing. Strong firms often have established processes and experienced mentors – a goldmine for learning! Remember, their reputation reflects the quality of training and exposure you'll receive, crucial for your professional growth.

Sales in real estate takes time to learn and comes with Practice. Also each customer interaction opportunity is a learning opportunity. In bigger brands the role this exposure may not be given to interns. Working for slightly lesser brand may provide more exposure.

Knowing your role is key in any profession, not just real estate. Are you going to be required to do prospecting activities or admin activities? Are you going to be in the office or on the field? P.S. You should look for prospecting roles because they will teach you the reality of whether you’re cut for real estate or not 😉

Real estate agents get paid for the time they spend in front of buyers and sellers. With all due respect - a great real estate practitioner won’t have time to mentor interns 🙃 With that said, you should only look for roles with top performers. Don’t expect them to mentor you because you get something better - to watch what they do up close. P.S. It's too early to mentor an intern without knowing whether knowing they will take a liking to work. This holds good across industries. Generally mentorship comes after the training is complete and employees start performing on certain scale set by the management which involves not only sale but other factors like team work n leader skill display. That where mentorship starts. Intern should look at opportunity to LEARN

Don't agree completely. As said in Geeta "Do your work first not worry about outcomes". The only work as an intern or fresher should be to learn. Today every one wants go jump the gun. Even Steve Jobs said “You can't connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backwards".

A clearly defined job role and varied learning cannot happen at same time. Focus should be on Learning. Try to learn, done be shy of asking if you don't understand even 10 times again and agjn Your seniors will guide you. That's beauty to interns you get multiple opportunities

Internship should be taken as an opportunity with learning being top priority. Choose options which give most exposure to most aspects of whatever you are looking to learn.
