WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) – The City of Wichita is continuing to restore systems after last month’s cyberattack.

The city says most public-facing systems are back in service with some limited exceptions. Water metering, billing and payment processing systems are coming back online. Customers should expect to begin receiving updated statements this week. Auto-payments are functioning as normal, and customers should now have access to their utility accounts online. Bills may be paid via credit card, cash, check and money order by coming to City Hall, accessing your water account online at https://link.wichita.gov or by calling 316-265-1300 or mailing payment.

The City of Wichita says due to the cyber incident, which impaired the processing of bills and payments, some June bills will be for more than 60 days of service. If necessary, call a city representative at 316-265-1300 for a payment arrangement and to work out a plan to get your account caught up on payment activity. Please see frequently asked questions about water bill payments at wichita.gov/alert if you experience any glitches when accessing your account.
