Mike TeSelle

Reporter

Mike TeSelle is an Emmy-award winning journalist who has been with KCRA since 1998.

He is an aggressive reporter who has covered and investigated some of California's biggest stories over the past decade. However, he may be most recognizable for his live reports from the Sierra during a snowstorm or from the front lines of a raging wildfire.

Along with multiple Emmy-nominations, Mike was also the lead reporter for two Edward R. Murrow Regional Best Newscasts. He has also received honors from the Associated Press, Best of the West, Society of Professional Journalists, and the National Press Photographers Association.

Before moving to KCRA 3, Mike worked at WNDU-TV. He began his career as a Reporter-Anchor-Weatherman for KFBB-TV in Great Falls, MT.

He is a graduate of Syracuse University's renowned S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications.

He is an active basketball and racquetball player.

He is married with two children.
