Carolina Estrada

Carolina Estrada is a reporter at KCRA 3. She grew up in Southern California, but has spent the last several years getting to know Northern California. She joins KCRA 3 with prior experience reporting and anchoring in Spanish, covering issues affecting the Hispanic and Latino communities.  She is passionate about digging for answers and has covered important issues such as gun violence, homelessness, immigration, and the California wildfires. Her work has been honored with multiple Northern California Emmy awards.  She received a bachelor’s degree from La Universidad del Valle de Atemajac in Mexico, where she also worked at multiple journalism organizations doing in-depth reporting.   In her free time, Carolina enjoys traveling, reading, visiting coffee shops, and spending time with friends and family.
