TOYOTA. THE SACRAMENTO REPUBLIC FC IS RUN IN THE US OPEN CUP, HAS COME TO AN END, NOT THE OUTCOME. WE WERE HOPING FOR. SACRAMENTO WAS HOSTING THE SEATTLE SOUNDERS IN THE QUARTERFINALS MATCH AND CHP ARRIVING IN STYLE TONIGHT WITH A HELICOPTER DROP OFF. LOOK AT THAT. SOUNDERS STRIKE FIRST IN THE 16TH MINUTE OFF THE DEFLECTION. JOSH ATENCIO CONNECTS WITH THE RIGHT FOOT TO THE LEFT CORNER. HE WAS JUST SELECTED AS AN ALTERNATE FOR THE PARIS OLYMPICS 21ST MINUTE. THE REPUBLIC GOING FOR THE EQUALIZER HERE. CHRISTIAN PERANO TAKES THE SHOT, MISSED THE POST AND GOES OUT. OH SO CLOSE. SEATTLE SCORES AGAIN IN THE 31ST. JORDAN MORRIS MAKES IT LOOK EASY. GETS BY DANNY VITELLO TO SLOT IT HOME FOR THE GOAL. AND A TWO NIL LEAD AT THE HALF. THERE. JUAN SEBASTIAN HERRERA WOULD SCORE THE REPUBLIC’S ONLY GOAL OF THE NIGHT IN THE 49TH MINUTE. SEATTLE WIN
