As temperatures rise, ensuring your car stays cool becomes increasingly important."When it comes to keeping your car running smoothly during the summer heat, the first thing to check is your coolant level," Wayne Lamorder, shop foreman at Brown's Automotive in Albuquerque, New Mexico, said."You want to make sure it's between the min and max on the hotline, which is going to be way down here," Lamorder said. "You never want to open a cooling system when your vehicle is hot.
