Yujiang Xie is a Research Fellow at the Institute of Geophysics, Jackson School of Geosciences, University of Texas at Austin. He received a B.S. degree in Geological Engineering from the China University of Mining and Technology, Beijing, in 2010, a Master's degree in Geological Engineering from Lanzhou University, China, in 2013, and a Ph.D. degree in Earth System Sciences from the University of Hamburg, Germany, in 2017. In 2018, he worked as a Research Scholar at the Institute of Geophysics, University of Hamburg. From 2019 to 2024, he was a Research Fellow and Visiting Fellow at the Ocean and Earth Sciences, University of Southampton, UK. His research interests include wave equations, wave simulations, seismic full waveform modeling and inversions, machine learning, and high-performance computing in various systems.
