About me:
With 22 years of experience in student services within higher education, I have held student counseling positions at the University of Texas at Austin’s Colleges of Liberal Arts, Education, and Natural Sciences. I am passionate about the career development process and dedicated to supporting students as they grow into professionals.
I hold a BA in Psychology and an MA in School Psychology, where I developed advanced educational, psychological, and career assessment techniques to enhance students’ overall educational experiences. Alongside career assessments, I apply modern career coaching techniques to help individuals make informed and satisfying career decisions.
Currently, I thoroughly enjoy administering professional career services for undergraduate students, graduate students, alumni, and company recruiters at the Jackson School of Geosciences.

About me:
I’m a proud Austinite (born and raised!) and I graduated from the University of Texas with a BS in Psychology (Hook ’em!). I’ve worked at UT for over five years, with the last few being with the Jackson School of Geosciences. During my time at the Jackson School, I’ve discovered a passion for guiding students as they hone their skills and prepare for life after graduation. Currently, my focus is on working closely with undergraduate students through individual coaching sessions to help them recognize their strengths and chart out a career path. I also collaborate with company recruiters who are interested in engaging with Jackson School students.
Office Information:
The Career Services office at the Jackson School of Geosciences is located in the Jackson Geosciences Building (JGB) on the main campus of The University of Texas at Austin. Our office is located on the 2nd floor (main floor) near the Holland Family Student Center. Search for JGB on this interactive map.
Closest parking is in the San Jacinto Garage (search for SJG on the interactive map). From southwest corner of San Jacinto Garage (SJG), turn left and walk south a block to 23rd Street. Turn right, cross San Jacinto, and walk west on 23rd Street, around the circular drive, past the Winship Theater (WIN) on your right, and up the steps. The Jackson Geosciences Building (JGB) is the next building on the right. Career Services offices are inside the Holland Family Student Center on the main floor.
