Gardaí have appealed for help in tracing the whereabouts of a missing 17-year-old girl from Laois.

Abbie Glynn, of Ballybrittas, Co. Laois, was last seen in Dunshaughlin, Co. Meath, on Thursday June 13. Abbie is known to frequent the Dublin city centre area.

Abbie is described as being approximately six foot one inch in height with a slim build, black hair and brown eyes. When last seen, Abbie was wearing a black jacket, blue leggings and brown trainers.

Gardaí have appealed for anyone with information on Abbie’s whereabouts to make contact with authorities.

A Garda spokesperson said: “Gardaí are seeking the public's assistance in tracing the whereabouts of 17-year-old Abbie Glynn, of Ballybrittas, Co. Laois, who was last seen in Dunshaughlin, Co. Meath, on Thursday 13 June.”

They added: “Anyone with any information on Abbie’s whereabouts is asked to contact Portlaoise Garda Station on 057 867 4100, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda Station.”
