Experience

An investment professional since 1999, Kristina got her start writing about investments after working as a healthcare services analyst and sector portfolio manager at GE Asset Management (now State Street Global Advisors). From there she worked as the director of research at a small private equity firm that focused on investing in cyclical companies. In these positions she wrote investment summaries and commentary. She also contributed to several white papers, particularly focused on international equities, global equities, and high yield fixed income.

Kristina enjoys teaching others about the equity and bond markets and found she was able to accomplish that through writing for online publications such as Investopedia.com and ETF Advisor. She also contributed to the Institutional Investor Network, a private network for professional investors.

Education

Kristina received her MBA from New York University's Stern School of Business and is a qualified CFA.
