Overview

Academia is an ultramarathon that we try to run as a sprint. This leaves little in reserve to manage our stressors and challenges in this competitive landscape. In this session, we learn to recognise burnout and its fundamental causes – both environmental and individual – and learn tools to help keep ourselves safe.

Who is it for?

Academics, Researchers, Technical Staff and Learning and Teaching Staff, seeking to develop tools and strategies to avoid burnout and who wish to manage their mental clarity and wellbeing.
