We designed, developed, and maintain this website to be in compliance with California Government Code:

Certification

We provide a signed Website Accessibility Certification. This lets us meet California Government Code Section 11546.7 requirements. It confirms our website is compliant with accessibility standards outlined in our policy. We renew this certification every two years.

Guidelines

Our website follows Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA Guidelines and Success Criteria.

WCAG 2.2 supports these 4 principles of web accessibility:

  1. Perceivable:
    • Provide text alternatives for non-text content
    • Provide captions and other alternatives for multimedia
    • Create content that can be presented in different ways without losing meaning. This includes when presented by assistive technologies.
    • Make it easier for users to see and hear content
  2. Operable:
    • Make all functionality available from a keyboard
    • Give users enough time to read and use content
    • Do not use content that causes seizures
    • Help users navigate and find content
  3. Understandable:
    • Make text readable and understandable
    • Make content appear and operate in predictable ways
    • Help users avoid and correct mistakes
  4. Robust:
    • Maximize compatibility with current and future user tools

We review assistive technology to determine the most common software and browser combinations. We test our website using the following combinations:

  • JAWS and Google Chrome
  • NVDA and Google Chrome

We design our website to work with the latest version of your browser. This ensures you have the current security technology to keep your information safe.
