really liked it
I hadn’t ever heard of the Magdalene Laundries in Ireland run by the nuns. It’s hard to imagine that they were run until the 1990’s. It’s amazing how such a short little book can pack so much punch. Sad and disturbing but also filled with hope from Furlong who was the main character.
