On facebook, there is a "chain letter" note going around that I just got tagged on today. I thought that it was kinda fun, so I thought that I'd post it on here for anyone that wants to do it as well!

Melodie, have you seen the miniseries on PBS with Olympia Dukakis as Mrs. Madrigal and Laura Linney as Maryanne? They did a great job bringing everyone to life. I think I actually saw that first and it inspired me to read the books.

Jennifer, you've read A Game of Thrones. And I'm sure you loved it. You should know that although there are 4 books in the series, George RR Martin has almost certainly stopped writing books in the series, so if you get attached to the characters, as I did, you will never find out what happened to them or to their world.

I think he wrote himself into a corner and could not write himself out of it.
