EU elections: Final projections before the vote
Today is the first day of the European elections, with citizens heading to the polls to determine who will sit in the new European Parliament, first in the Netherlands today and then in the other EU countries on 7-9 June.

EU Parliament adopts Right to Repair law with broad support
Est. 5minThe European Parliament endorsed a beefed-up 'right to repair' law with a large majority on Tuesday (21 November), setting its position before negotiations with the Council representing the 27 EU countries.
Commission wants member states to keep voting rights for EU citizens abroad
The European Commission took action on Wednesday to help EU citizens who lose the right to vote in national elections after moving abroad in the EU.
'Every EU citizen has the right to vote in European and in local elections in his or her Member State of residence. This is one of the key rights for the free movement of citizens and you know that 14 million of citizens are living in another Member State than their own.' EU Justice commissioner Viviane Reding said.
