Dear members, according with our records, there are many ESUR members that are qualified to obtain the privileges of ESUR fellows.

Active members who have made a significant contribution to Urogenital Imaging and related research and education may apply to be considered as a Fellow of the Society based on following pre-requisites:

1) To be ESUR member in good standing since at least five years.

2) To be sponsored by two Fellows of the Society. Supporting letters from these two members must describe in detail the sponsor’s impression of the applicant’s past, present and future contributions to urogenital imaging and how the applicant can contribute to the Society.

3) To devote at least 20% of work time to urogenital radiology, as documented by the attached CV.

4) To have authored at least five scientific (clinical or experimental) and/or guidelines papers on urogenital imaging topics published in journals with an impact factor. The applicant should be first, second, last or penultimate author. Case reports are not considered.

5) To fulfill at least two of these supplementary criteria:

a. Having been awarded of the European Diploma in Urogenital Radiology (EDiUR)
b. Having served as invited speaker in ESUR symposia/workshops and/or National/International congresses presenting topics of genitourinary imaging
c. Being part of the teaching staff of academic postrgraduate courses and schools for topics of urogenital imaging
d. Having authored at least five book chapters on urogenital imaging topics
e. Being editors of genitourinary imaging books

A special application form for fellowship available below has to be filled out by the applicant. A CV should be uploaded documenting the pre-requisites for fellowship.

Applications have to be submitted by the end of May, to be first approved by the Membership Committee and then ratified at the ESUR General Assembly during the Annual ESUR symposium in September.

The right and duties of fellows are reported in the ESUR bylaws. In particular, kindly bear in mind that to maintain fellowship, Fellows should contribute substantially and continuously to the activities of the Society.
