Saint Kitts and Nevis Eco Resorts-tours

Caribbean – Saint Kitts and Nevis Eco-tourism

From coral reefs to American Oceanic Rainforest, one of the rarest types of rainforest, Saint Kitts and Nevis has a lot to offer the eco-tourist. St. Kitts is working with the Coral Reef Alliance and Philippe Cousteau’s EarthEcho to develop Marine Protected Areas after evaluating the condition of the coral reefs off their shores.

St. Kitts also has a central mountain chain that rises almost to 4,000 feet in places. The St. Kitts & Nevis National Parliament has declared all land above 1,000 feet to be a National Forest Reserve. In this way the Rainforest will be preserved.

They are also involved in a conservation project: The St. Kitts Sea Turtle Monitoring Network, that is a non profit, trying to help save endangered sea turtles, including hawksbill, leatherback and green sea turtles.

At present we have no Saint Kitts and Nevis Eco Resorts-tours but we are actively looking, so check back.
