The best sci-fi movies on Max right now
Delphine Chanéac and Sarah Polley in Splice.

What are we going to do about Max's sci-fi movies? Or more to the point, what is Max going to do about them? There are a number of strong films in the science fiction and fantasy category on Max, but the streamer's lineup has been stagnant lately. Aside from Dune: Part Two last month, Max hasn't had any major new titles in this section for months. The next big addition might be Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga, but who knows when that's going to show up on Max?

In the meantime, we'll just have to work with what we have, which includes the 2009 sci-fi thriller Splice, as well as a the 2001 sci-fi rom-com, Kate & Leopold. There are of course, more prominent films among our selections for the best sci-fi movies on Max, including two of the modern Planet of the Apes films, two Star Trek flicks, and more. You can find all of those films by beaming down to read the rest of this post.
