SpongeBob SquarePants returns in the new show Kamp Koral while adults with more serious things on their minds can watch the drama Memory with Oscar-winner Jessica Chastain. Read further for a complete list below.

Apple TV+ is the type of high-caliber streaming platform that consistently releases new content. These breakout movies and shows are often Apple exclusives, and feature top-notch talent both onscreen and behind the camera. Remember the movie CODA? That incredible Apple film won Best Picture at the 94th Academy Awards.

It can be difficult to keep up with any streaming platform’s releases, especially a service as prolific as Apple TV+. But that’s where we come in! Your pals at Digital Trends make it our duty to share our ever-evolving knowledge of what’s new and cool to watch on platforms like Apple TV+.

The best sci-fi movies on Max right now
Delphine Chanéac and Sarah Polley in Splice.

What are we going to do about Max's sci-fi movies? Or more to the point, what is Max going to do about them? There are a number of strong films in the science fiction and fantasy category on Max, but the streamer's lineup has been stagnant lately. Aside from Dune: Part Two last month, Max hasn't had any major new titles in this section for months. The next big addition might be Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga, but who knows when that's going to show up on Max?

In the meantime, we'll just have to work with what we have, which includes the 2009 sci-fi thriller Splice, as well as a the 2001 sci-fi rom-com, Kate & Leopold. There are of course, more prominent films among our selections for the best sci-fi movies on Max, including two of the modern Planet of the Apes films, two Star Trek flicks, and more. You can find all of those films by beaming down to read the rest of this post.
