If you really want to feel like the lord of your own kingdom in Manor Lords, you will want to make the experience as personalized as possible. Naming your budding village is a great start, but your coat of arms is a visual representation of your kingdom that appears far more prominently. When you are starting a new game, you will have a decent selection of symbols, designs, and colors to make something cool from, but there's far from endless freedom. You do have the ability to create any coat of arms you want, though it does take some extra work outside of the game itself. Here's how it works.

How to upload a custom coat of arms

Unfortunately, there are no in-game tools or systems to let you have complete control over your coat of arms. If you want to design anything your mind can come up with, this is the only way for now.

Step 1: Download the coat of arms template PNG from the official Manor Lords press kit.

Step 2: Open this file in your photo-editing software of choice.

Step 3: Create whatever custom design you like within the bounds of the template.

Step 4: Delete the template_custom_coat.png layer and save your final design.

Step 5: Open up C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\ManorLords\Saved\SaveGames* and save your file under the name *custom_coat.png.

Step 6: Click on the Load Custom Texture in the coat of arms screen.

Step 7: Your customized design will appear and be ready to use.

Everyone who has played a Pokemon game knows that the most powerful ball is the legendary Master Ball. Most games only provide you with one of these overpowered items that lets you catch any Pokemon you want without a fight, but Pokemon GO didn't include them at all for many years. If you log in today looking to get one for yourself to have ready for when you find that elusive Pokemon you've been struggling to catch, you won't see any signs of how to get one. Like any good professor, we will instruct you on all the things you need to know about getting a Master Ball in Pokemon GO.
How to get a Master Ball
As mentioned, Master Balls were first introduced as a special event in which players could complete limited-time research tasks to earn one. After that event ended, it wouldn't be possible to get one again until months later as part of a different special event. The final opportunity occurred in November 2023, but since then there has been no way to earn a Master Ball in Pokemon GO.

As of the time of this writing, there is no ongoing event or research task in which you can earn a Master Ball. The next opportunity will be between May 14 and May 19 as part of the Catching Wonders event, which will be free for all players. As long as you start the Masterwork Research quest during this time period, you can complete it at any time and still earn a Master Ball.

Unless you're a lefty, you may not notice that every shooter, including Counter-Strike 2, always has you playing as a right-handed character. If you want to set your character to always play either left- or right-handed, the best way is to set your preferred handedness in the settings. Open up your settings and go into Game > Item and scroll down to the Preferred Viewmodel Left/Right Handedness option. The drop-down menu will let you choose between right and left so you will always default to that view.
