The best Google Pixel Watch deals you can shop right now

Smartwatches have become an important tool when trying to keep up with the electronic world we live in, especially since it saves you the trouble of pulling out your phone and looking at a screen. There are, of course, an absolute ton of smartwatches to pick from, from Apple’s Watch Series to Samsung’s Galaxy Watch, but if you’re in the Google ecosystem and want its design language, then the Pixel Watch is the one to go for.

So far, there have been two iterations of the Pixel Watch you can grab, or if you want something in the same Google family, FitBit is another alternative since it was bought out a few years ago by Google. Either way, if the offers below don’t quite tickle your fancy, even though they are substantial, there are some other excellent smartwatch deals to take a look at.

My first attempt at a Google Pixel Watch didn’t fare as well as it could have, although this is still a solid smartwatch if you want something that’s in the Google ecosystem and budget-friendly. It has a very unique-looking, rounded, 1.2-inch screen that’s AMOLED, so it’s gorgeous and has excellent image reproduction. It, of course, has heart monitoring and sleep tracking, as well as other fitness sensors and software, although a lot of that is locked behind a Fitbit premium, which, admittedly, you do get six months free when buying this watch.

Google Pixel Watch 2 — $285, was $350

The Pixel Watch 2 was a much better iteration of the design from Google, and it shows. For starters, it has a battery that can last more than 24 hours, which is a big plus if you don’t want to take it off every night when you sleep for it to charge. It’s much more comfortable to wear overall, and it performs much faster and more smoothly than the original Pixel Watch. That said, a lot of its fitness features are still locked behind a FitBit Premium subscription, which will run you at $10/month after you finish the original six months you get for free. Still, if you like the looks of the Watch 2, it’s a great watch to buy if you’re willing to go for the monthly subscription.

Should you buy the Google Pixel Watch or Google Pixel Watch 2?

With both the Google Pixel Watch and Google Pixel Watch 2 still available, it can be tricky to know whether you should go for the newer model or if you’ll be just fine with the older option. A simple answer is that if you can afford it, always go with the newer model aka the Google Pixel Watch 2. However, if your budget is tight or you simply don’t want to spend extra on something you might not need, it’s a more complicated matter. We’ve looked in-depth at the differences between the Google Pixel Watch and Google Pixel Watch 2 but we can also offer you a quick overview.

At first, both seem very similar with the same display. However, the Google Pixel Watch 2 has a newer and faster processor which means it’ll perform faster. It also has a better battery while it weighs ever so slightly less than the original model. There’s also the addition of a cEDA sensor for body response tracking, along with a skin temperature sensor, barometer, and magnetometer.

Adding to the superior value, the Google Pixel Watch 2 has an aluminum casing compared to the Pixel Watch’s stainless steel, so it feels classier. Ultimately though, it’s the better performance that sells the Google Pixel Watch 2 along with its superior battery life. It adds up to differences you’ll spot daily and that’s where things count most.

The extra sensors are great too as they mean more precise readings such as those for your heart, while they can even indicate the presence of underlying medical conditions from stress and anxiety to something much more serious. It’s ideal for a more well-rounded look at your health and stress levels.

Where possible, it makes sense to spend the extra and get the Google Pixel Watch 2. It’s faster to use, offers better battery life, and has more advanced sensors. However, the difference isn’t as huge as you might expect meaning people on a budget will still be happy with the original Google Pixel Watch. It all depends on how important it is for you to save money.

This is no doubt the best Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 pre-order deal
Samsung's unboxing of the Galaxy Z Fold 6.

If you want to be the very first to get one of the newest, greatest Samsung phones, you're probably pretty excited right now. That's because the Galaxy Z Fold 6 is coming out on the 24, which is just about two weeks away from the date this is being written. And that means it is pre-order season. When we explored Galaxy Z Flip 6 pre-order deals, we found a fairly robust landscape with a ton of best options for you depending on your carrier of choice. Unfortunately, though, the same does not apply for the more expensive Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6. When looking at Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 pre-order deals we kept finding that Samsung itself was (usually) your best choice. Tap the button below to see the Samsung page and start making your order or keep reading below to see why other retailers are struggling to keep up the pace.

Why you should pre-order the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 from Samsung
Pre-ordering the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 from Samsung nets you a number of benefits. The first, which is largely superficial but won't fit in with the numerical arguments to come, is the fact that Samsung has reserved some color variations for their own shop. This includes the white and the special "Crafted Black" with a special textured exterior. Note that Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 cases are already out, however, so you can always just get a textured case if you want that feel. Also note that Samsung online exclusive colors are having a delayed shipment and aren't expected to arrive at your home until by August 7th, a full two weeks after launch.

Best Buy has a surprisingly good Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 preorder deal
Samsung's unboxing of the Galaxy Z Fold 6.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 is coming out on July 24. That means it is pre-order season now. While Best Buy isn't necessarily the favorite of our collected Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 pre-order deals, it does pretty well for average consumers that don't have niche needs. And, as a result of Best Buy being Best Buy and working with lots of manufacturers, it has one of the widest-ranging catalogs of trade-in compatible phones out there. We're estimating that you can save up to $680 off of the 512GB version of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6, bringing its price down to $1,340 from $2,020, and come out with a $300 Best Buy e-Gift Card. Tap the button below to go check out the phone and deal yourself, or keep reading to see why we like the phone and how you can maximize your savings.

Why you should pre-order the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 from Best Buy
First things first, let's establish that the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 is the phone you want. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 is the latest in the very popular series of Samsung folding phones. In fact, its predecessor and 5th iteration of the series, is sitting at the top of our list of the best folding phones. Preorders for the Fold 6 opened up at the same time as Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 preorders. With two gorgeous AMOLED screens, smooth transitions of 120Hz, and a slimmer-than-expected profile, there's no reason to think that the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 won't follow in the 5's legacy. And, based on what we're seeing from an early hands-on Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 peek, we can only confirm that we like what we see. Our reviewer particularly praised the toughness of the phone, which has an aluminum "armor" on the exterior and strong Gorilla Glass screens. This is a phone that will likely stay with you for the long term if you're the type to not change phones but once in a few years.

The open and closed Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6.

If you want to get the latest Samsung folding phone, you can secure your device today. That's because the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 is officially ready for preordering. While you could wait until the official release date of July 24th, you may encounter shortages. (Note: There's a mysterious 'Get it by July 24' message on the Samsung preorder page, with the emphasis on the word "by" being ours.) You'll also miss out on great preorder deals where you can get extra storage with no additional costs. But should you preorder your Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 from Samsung or elsewhere? As it turns out, it depends a lot on your carrier (or intended carrier) and your current status with that carrier. Here, we examine the best deals for each carrier, though you should note that switching from an unlocked to carrier-specific deal is as easy as pressing a button. In other words, the unlocked deal is universal and might be a great place to start learning about Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 deals.
The best unlocked Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 preorder deal
To get a fresh, unlocked Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6, your best bet is to go directly to the manufacturer. Right now they advertise that you can get the phone with as much as $1,500 in savings. The first way you're saving is by getting an effective doubling of your storage space for free. That means the 512GB version costs as much as the (now unavailable) 256GB version and the 1TB version costs as much as the 512GB version will cost. That's a savings of $120 and $240, respectively. Then, there are enhanced trade-in values. For example, your old Pixel 6 Pro (Samsung accepts Samsung, Apple, Google, and "other" phones with the first three categories giving the best returns) would typically only fetch you an $80 discount. Today, that same phone gets you $500. Trade-in credit is capped to $1,200.

The best Verizon Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 preorder deal
If you're looking for the best deal on a Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 and want it tied to Verizon, the best deal is still via Samsung at this time. The reason is because Verizon caps out their trade-in to $800 in credit. You can get $1,500 total off at Samsung and still have your phone tied to Verizon with no extra efforts if you select Verizon as your carrier. Or, simply tap the button below to have this option already selected.
