New Kids on the Block will perform at Acrisure Arena in Palm Desert, Calif., on July 6, 2024.

Pop: Get ready, Coachella Valley. The "Boys In The Band" are coming, and we're talking about New Kids on the Block. Since forming in the late '80s, these teen idols have sold 80 million albums featuring the superhits "Hangin' Tough," "Please Don't Go Girl," "You Got It (Right Stuff)," "Step by Step" and more. In 2008, the band reunited after 14 years and released the comeback album "The Block," which went to No. 2 on the Billboard 200 chart. The reunion tour included supporting act and rising star Lady Gaga.

New Kids on the Block will perform on Saturday at Acrisure Arena. If that's not enough, pop icon Paula Abdul and DJ Jazzy Jeff will also perform.

Country: For many years, Oklahoma country artist Tennessee Jet performed live gigs as a one-man band, and he made his first two albums in much the same way, playing every instrument himself. He developed his love of country music in all its forms growing up on the road with his barrel-racing mother and bronco-riding father. Even though he plays with a live band now, his indie-country sound and poetic songwriting remains.

Tennessee Jet will perform on Friday at Pappy and Harriet's.

Patti LaBelle will perform at Fantasy Springs Resort Casino in Indio, Calif., on July 6, 2024.

R&B: Patti LaBelle, known as the "Godmother of Soul" in R&B, has achieved remarkable success. With 50 million records sold, two Grammy Awards, and induction into both the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the Grammy Hall of Fame, her influence is undeniable. "New Attitude," "If Only You Knew," and "On My Own" are timeless classics frequently enjoyed on '80s radio stations and in curated playlists.

Eagles tribute band Hotel California performs Saturday, July 6, 2024, at Spotlight 29 Casino in Coachella, Calif.

Tribute: The Eagles is one of the most prolific rock bands. Even though the band is on its farewell tour, the music lives on. Hotel California, an Eagles tribute band, has been performing together for over three decades. As one of the more popular tribute bands, Hotel California has performed around the globe at amphitheaters and arenas.

Tom Papa will perform Saturday, July 6, 2024, at Agua Caliente Resort Casino Spa.

Comedy: Fans of The Joe Rogan Experience may recognize regular guest and comedian Tom Papa. He also had a recurring role in the the CBS series "The New Adventures of Old Christine," starred in his own NBC sitcom "Come to Papa" and hosted the Food Network series "Bread."

Papa will perform on Saturday at Agua Caliente Resort Casino Spa.
