The "Talking Cars With Consumer Reports" inbox filled up with so many comments and queries about used cars after Episode 116 that we started this episode by answering some viewer questions.

What's a reliable used SUV? Our expert panel suggested historically bulletproof mainstream choices such as the Honda CR-V and Toyota RAV4 and Highlander, along with some lesser known models, such as the Toyota Venza and Lexus GX. Yes, there is a bit of a Toyota theme.

Viewers also asked for our opinions on a fun-yet-reliable new or used rear-wheel-drive car, whether it's smart to go with a less expensive used Chrysler Town & Country minivan or pay more for a used Toyota Sienna, and why it seems like Infiniti has cheapened its products of late.

Last, the panel wrapped up by giving its impressions of a recent addition to the CR test fleet, the 2017 Honda Civic Si. We debated whether this sporty Civic—the first-ever Si with a turbocharged engine—lives up to the reputation of past high-revving models.
