    Throughput near

    Throughput near

The router throughput (speed) of the communications is measured very near the router in an "open space" hallway. For our test, it was 8 feet away from the router in a hallway. For Mesh Routers, the client is placed 8 feet from the base. Performance will vary based on the size and construction of the house or apartment and how many floors, walls, doors, and other obstructions are between the router and receiving device.

    Throughput mid-range

    Throughput mid-range

The router communications throughput (speed) is measured further away from the router but still in an "open space" hallway. For this test the client was 20 feet away from the router in a hallway. For Mesh Router's, the satellite is placed 20 feet from the base, and the client is placed 20 feet from the base while attached to the satellite. Performance will vary based on the size and construction of the house or apartment and how many floors, walls, doors, and other obstructions are between the router and receiving device.

    Throughput far

    Throughput far

The router communications throughput (speed) is measured far away from the router using an "open space" hallway. For this test, the distance is 55 feet away from the router in a hallway where the device is located around the corner from the router to obtain the 55 feet distance. For Mesh Routers, the satellite is placed 20 feet from the base, and the client is placed around the corner to negotiate the 55 feet from the base router but attached to the satellite located 49.25 feet away. The performance will vary based on the size and construction of the house or apartment; and how many floors, walls, doors, and other obstructions are between the router and receiving device.
