Tesla Motors doesn't resemble a normal car company, and its legions of devoted fans reflect that. Indeed, last week's much anticipated unveiling of the Tesla Model 3 resembled a revival meeting. Excitement carried over to Tesla's reservation banks, which are overflowing with 325,000 potential Model 3 orders.

But as this episode of the "Talking Cars with Consumer Reports" video podcast points out, there are still a lot of unanswered questions about what exactly people are waiting in line—probably for years—to buy.

We have one big question about the Chrysler Pacifica minivan: Will it be reliable?

Beyond that, our initial exposure to the automaker's first all-new car platform in a very long time reveals an impressive car. Typical for Chrysler, the interior is jam-packed with clever features, but unlike other recent products, the Pacifica drives well and feels fully developed.

We also answer questions about a popular Talking Cars topic: compact sports sedans. A viewer asks about the upcoming Jaguar XE, and we give our first impressions. As usual, Lexus fans swoop in to defend the low-scoring IS sedan. We preview our just-purchased Audi A4 test car and address a viewer who says we never mention the Cadillac ATS.
