Talking Cars 448: Driving the Lincoln Nautilus Hybrid

Plus, we ponder where all the wagons have gone

Main theme: In this podcast episode, the team shares its initial driving impressions of the 2024 Lincoln Nautilus Hybrid.

For 2024 Lincoln redesigned its Nautilus midsized SUV, making major changes under the hood and inside the cabin. Two powertrains are available: a 250-hp turbocharged four-cylinder engine paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and an optional 300-hp, four-cylinder hybrid engine mated to a continuously variable transmission. Both versions come standard with all-wheel drive.

While the hybrid powertrain in the version we bought is interesting, the most unique feature of the SUV is the 48-inch wide screen that runs the full width of the windshield. The panel talks about this cutting-edge feature, the pros/cons of the control layout, and what the Nautilus is like to drive.

    Audience Questions
    • Where have all of the wagons gone?
    • Which vehicle should I get for camping that also has a low environmental impact?

“Talking Cars” panelists (from left): Jon Linkov, Ryan Pszczolkowski, and Emily Thomas.
