Talking Cars 373: Driving the 2023 Honda HR-V

Plus, which car would you choose: the Mazda3 turbo or Acura Integra?

Main theme: Honda recently redesigned its small HR-V, moving it up in price and features. The original HR-V wasn’t universally loved by us; it was noisy, underpowered, and had a stiff ride. The new model is built on the redesigned Civic’s platform (rather than the Fit), granting it a longer wheelbase, more interior space, a more powerful engine, and an independent rear suspension that has boosted its ride and handling. We discuss our time behind the wheel and give reasons why we think Honda did such a substantial job with this redesign. (Read our Honda HR-V first drive.)

Audience question: I’m having a tough time deciding between a Mazda3 turbo and an Acura Integra. What does the Talking Cars podcast panel think?
