The price is great for the room we got at the heart of the city. It is located near the Tawaramachi Ekimae station (~ 100 m). Short walk from Asakusa Station (10 min walk) which connects directly to the airport Haneda by the Keikyu line.
Very clean and the place has a public indoor bath. The entrance made me feel like walking in a 5 star hotel. The reception was accomodating for late check-in due to delay flight and travel time (I landed at 9 PM, and arrived 11 PM via train).
Room has TV. Clean bed sheet as it is very standard for Japanese hotels.
There is laundry facility. We paid to use it - it was I think 500 yen per wash.

The capital of Japan, Tokyo is a vast, teeming metropolis nestled between mountains and Tokyo Bay. It’s so huge that you’ll have to come to grips with public transport and maybe even experience being pushed onto a train. Yes, it does actually happen!
Get your bearings by ascending the Tokyo World Trade Centre near the waterfront, and savour the fantastic views taking in the red-and-white Tokyo Tower and Shinkuju’s skyscrapers. North is Ueno, home to the best museums (including the Tokyo National Museum) and a large park bursting with cherry blossom in spring.
Equally tranquil are the Chiyoda Imperial Palace and Gardens, surrounded by water. Also in gardens is the Meiji Jingu Shinto shrine in Shibuya, a youthful district where neon abounds.
For more traditional Japanese culture, head to Asakusa whose Sensō-ji Buddhist temple is Tokyo’s oldest temple. Markets in the grounds sell a variety of wares, though shopping in Tokyo is, of course, fantastic wherever you go.
Whether you stay in a Japanese ryokan, luxury Tokyo hotel or a hostel, don’t fly out of Tokyo Narita Airport or Haneda Airport without having tried sushi. Another Japanese institution is the sento (public bath) and onsen (hot springs bath) – a must try. Also incredibly popular are Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea, Asia’s 2 most visited theme parks.
Vibrant and buzzing, but also historic and peaceful.
Vibrant and buzzing, but also historic and peaceful. Whatever you want to do Tokyo can deliver, an amazing place.
Whatever you choose to do or whatever places you choose to visit, the incredible transport network links everything, it may seem a little daunting at first, but you will very quickly get used to it. All the stories you here about how clean, tidy and efficient the transport network is in and around Tokyo are true.
Even if you only have a few days, you must visit Tokyo

Public Transport is efficient and cheap. Great museums.
Public Transport is efficient and cheap. Great museums. Cheap but excellent food. Golden Gai area touristy but quaint. Harajuku area fun shopping- the High end shopping centres around Shinjuku pretty pricey! That said, Japanese branded items such as Hoka shoes and Montbell outdoor gear very reasonable especially with tax taken off at purchase- have your passport handy.! Traffic noise is quiet and air quality good in such a big city due to electric vehicles and low speed limit.

Mix between cuture, and city.
Mix between cuture, and city. Many kinds of food to try in each area. Shinjuku is the center of everything, very convinience. Ueno station is good area to stay if you leave the city at Narita airport. I recommend to try tokyo cruise to see the different view of the city from the river. Odaiba beach is nice to relax.

In order to avoid losing time even on bullet train, I would recommend to all travelers to stay in Tokyo only to see Tokyo, and then book hotel to the other locations you want to visit. Making Tokyo base for everyday trips is not a good idea as you have each morning and evening queue up for travel. and traffic in Tokyo is much bigger than in the country side.
There are enough lockers at each station, leave your luggage there or at the reception of your hotel if it is close to the station and scroll around your next destination.

Tokyo is such a vibrant city, so many things to do and visit. And the shopping and eating never stop. So much food and variety to choose. I do suggest to google and watch YouTube videos for best places to eat. This is my second time to Japan and each time gets better. Will definitely come back again.
Great location near Hamamatsucho station with access to the Tokyo Monorail (for Haneda Airport), Yamanote line (for access to Shibuya, Shinjuku, Ikebukuro, Ueno, and more). Daimon station is also very close by with access to Shinjuku, Asakusa, and the Skytree. Within walking distance to Tokyo Tower as well
Rooms are compact but that is typical for Japanese hotels, they are very comfortable though and have all the facilities that you’d expect
Staff were very friendly and happy to help out
Location was amazing! 30 minute walk from either Shinjuku or Shibuya, 10 minutes away from the national gardens, right next to the baseball stadium and 15 minutes for Meiji Shrine. It was also right next to a station.
You also get views of mount Fuji on a clear day from the roof terrace which was a wonderful bonus.
Such great value for money in comparison to other hotel prices in Tokyo.
Everything went well, our hotel was perfcte and was located in one of the business district of Tokyo (Chuo City). The neighbourhood is quiet, not busy as Shibuya or Shinjuku, but perfect and sorrounded by restaurant, shopping possibilities and public transportation is close (Takaracho, Kyobashi and Tokyo stations).
Its in a very good location, 2 min walk from Shin-Okubo station and 10 mins walt to Shinjuku.
The hotel is a typical capsule and recommend to those who are looking for trying out a one or two night stay in capsule hotels. The lounge is quite spacious.
Male only capsule hotel right next to Shinjuku station. Can't get any better ! Lots of food and drink options nearby. The hotel is a good clean safe place. Perfect for a night or many.
