Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas President Lorie Logan said it will likely be appropriate to further slow the pace of interest-rate increases at the central bank’s next meeting.

“A slower pace is just a way to ensure we make the best possible decisions,” Logan said Wednesday at the University of Texas at Austin’s McCombs School of Business. “We can and, if necessary, should adjust our overall policy strategy to keep financial conditions restrictive even as the pace slows.”
