5.0 out of 5 starsAbsolutely fantastic series. Great addition to the Tron-verse.

Probably much like everyone I picked this series up after it was canceled. It's animation was top notch and the voice talent was phenomenal. I searched and searched for a DVD set to see if I could pick it up but nothing ever materialized. So I made my own for personal home use. If Amazon would have let me upload images I would have posted them. Alas, for some reason it won't. Guess no images on video reviews? If you wanted to do it as well, for your own personal home use of course, then you'll have to spend a little bit of money but it's worth it. Mine turned out fantastic. All 19 episodes that I purchased from Amazon in a 6 disk DVD case. With a custom printed Avery label on each disk. Plus a custom printed DVD cover case. There are 3 software programs you'll need if you go the way I went. Debut Video Capture Software, DVD Flick, and Img Burn. Although you could wind up using different software and/or hardware. Needless to say you will need a DVD burner, the software stated above, an inkjet printer for the labels (I have a Canon MX340), the labels themselves, a DVD case, images that you want to print onto the labels that will go onto the disks, and quite a bit of time as encoding and burning takes hours per disk ... let alone the time it takes to use the images to make your disk labels. For that just use Avery's website. It's free and fairly easy to use. Make sure you use the correct templates for the right labels. I decided to tackle the project just to have a hard copy of this fantastic series so I could add it to my home library. Also if for any reason I couldn't access amazon to watch it I would have it ready and on hand to play in any DVD player. I bought the labels, and 6 disk dvd cases, and a Avery CD/DVD label applicator (extremely useful but not absolutely necessary) on Amazon. I would highly recommend the label applicator though as it does make placing your labels onto your DVDs a breeze. They came out perfect. But if you're trying to save money you could try placing them by hand. Not recommended though lol. Some final thoughts. I wish I had purchased the HD version instead of the Standard version. 720p is ok but 1080p would have been great. Also, the reason I had to use 6 disks is because I only had the capability of utilizing 4.3 GB single sided DVD's. I did not have dual layer nor was I capable of burning to Blue Ray's which would have cut down significantly on the number of disks I needed to use. But I am happy with what I have. Just took a little longer. I originally had the URL's to all the sites you needed to grab stuff but I forgot Amazon does not like any URL's in reviews. Just google search and you'll find the stuff you need. Eventually. I also did a few reviews on the dvd case, and the label applicator. I was able to upload the images to those reviews so if you can find them you can see the finished work.
