This is a fine large format printer at a reasonable price. It produces really beautiful color prints up to 13 x 19 inches, and down to 4 X 6 edge to edge. It is capable of operating in wireless mode, or with a USB connection (not included!). HOWEVER to install wirelessly you will need a "network password" which is the Serial Number of the printer, located on a label on the rear surface of the printer. Also be advised that it takes a gray ink cartridge in addition to the usual Canon color ink sold often in sets. (a starter set of ink is included in the box.)
Standard text printing is clean and clear. Envelopes can be smudged if the envelope is too thick, but can be overcome with printer settings. See "paper anti-abrasion."
