Remote control mount is too thick, and too noisy
The 'remote' that you can mount on the wall (creating a faux 3-way light) - is way too thick, protruding from the wall - see crayon. It also requires being pushed with a lot of force to flip the switch, and is noisy. Finally, it wiggles when you go to turn the light on/off as it's only held loosely by magnet, and not behind the plate - so could be knocked off at night. I like the simplicity, not too many buttons like Caseta's dimmer.

This is a straightforward and simple dimmer switch. The only downside is that you do need a neutral wire so you will need power for this. The upside would be that no batteries are required but it may limit your placement. It's simple to connect and get functioning with Alexa. I do wish it had zigbee or Z-Wave for a quicker response time and better stability, but so far it has worked out pretty well with a few occasional non-responses.

I really like this as it fixes an issue I have where there is a light switch in a really inaccessible location when I have my truck in the garage. This allows me to turn on my garage lights without needing to move my truck to get at the light switch. The only downside is that I now have another proprietary app on my phone just so I can setup this switch. I would really like it more if they could find a way to get these devices to just work directly with the Google home app right out of the box for setup and everything. The switch works great and installation was easy. I am happy with this, but again it could be better.
