I've owned this vacuum for 3 years now.Here's a simple breakdown:Pros: It still runsCons:1. Look at my picture---see the tape in 3 spots? First the top part--Top canister DOES NOT SEAL properly leaving you to hear a whistling sound from the escaped air. That's because it's a poorly cheap made connection. Too bad because bad area to go cheap. Thats a CRUCIAL spot to create tight seal. FAIL2. After extensive use the next connection to go will be the stick (which you'll need most of the time) to the main top component. Starts getting wobbly and then finally needs taped to stiffen it up. Imagine what a pain when you want to use the hand vac option --- have to rip all that tape off and re-apply when you go back to normal upright mode. FAIL3. Bottom roller attachment---cheap plastic clips---snapped off a few months in---needs taped in order just to keep the attachment on. This is the MAIN attachment for floors and carpeting. So like I said above pain if you wanna use the hand held mode because now you have to also rip this tape off and then re-apply. FAIL4. The battery life SUCKS (pardon the pun) What else can I say? It's terrible. I've since bought other cordless stick vacs that do carpeting with rotating brush/coil and battery life is WAY better. Not a cheap investment to purchase an extra battery. Plus that one will suck too. My advice if you recently bought this and can't return in (stuck with it like me) run the darn thing on LOW mode 95% of the time. The HIGH mode is AWESOME and so you'll wanna use it. DON'T much. It's KILLS the battery in a few mins on a full charge. NO LIE. FAIL5. Horrible design for hardwood as the lip on the front end of the main attachment is too low to the ground and so one of two things happens 1. It slings crumbs or anything larger than dust and creates a bigger mess by the rotator will shoot stuff backward on hard floors. 2. It simply refuses to pick up some messes on hard floors... I'm talking about real life stuff. HAIR on hardwood, tiny plastic pieces, basically anything larger than dust it doesn't handle. UNLESS, you put so stick-on furniture type sliders (you know those felt stick on things you can get at dollar store and cut to your desire). That works cause it lifts the vac up a bit thus allowing it to grab larger pieces. Only problem is you lose suction since air is exposed. And I've already told you that you need to run this vac on LOW 95% of the time so you see the problem here? HIGH would work perfect for my hardwood floor fix and DOES but the battery goes dead in a couple minutes. FAILI didn't enjoy writing this review. I would have loved to say nice things but I have an obligation to give a truthful and honest review. Which I did. Many of my other reviews on AMAZON are positive (not all but many) so I'm not one of those types that gets all excited to trash a product. No emotions here. Just facts. I was over this vac a long time ago, but it still irks me how poorly made and designed it was especially for a good company like SAMSUNG. I think they moved on from the JET 60 very quickly and made improvements in the upgraded models JET 70, JET 90, etc. I'm just assuming this because this product is not featured much anymore on anything Samsung advertises. You can find it in stores and if you don't do research and read REAL reviews like this one, you'll be stuck with a lemon and you'll be sorry.I gave you my honest review, and I hope this helps your research. Don't buy this particular vacuum. NO WAY.
