Great unit, and mirroring what most of the other reviews said, this unit works great and cools down a 200 sq/ft room very fast and keeps it comfortable. Not so much that great in a 500-ish sq/ft area with vaulted ceilings, but you can definitely feel the difference after 20 minutes of it running.
There really aren't any negatives to say about this, but I will say a few things that I've noticed and wish it could be different on the AC unit. It's nothing that would prevent me from returning it, as it does what I need it to do. The fan on the high setting is a bit loud, especially when the unit is close to you but that's expected. Also, there's a fair amount of heat generated from the rear by the hose area - no hot air blowing, but if you put your hands back there you can definitely feel the heat radiating from the unit and the exhaust hose. I would recommend placing this closer to a wall or in the corner of a room.
The other thing is I wish this unit had adjustable power, or at least was more energy efficient and drew a lower wattage to save on electricity (and your electric bill). I use this AC unit on a Ecoflow Delta Pro with a 3.6 kWh battery, and it'll run just shy of 3 hours on the Delta Pro, or 4.5 hours with a 400W solar panel connected at the same time. The AC unit consistently pulls 1000 watts of electricity in cooling mode, and it's the same 1000 watts in either low or high mode, so we just leave it on high to cool the room faster. I've seen some 14,000 BTU window units only draw 500-600 watts or electricity, so it would've been nice is this unit was more energy efficient. I wish it didn't draw as much power since we run this unit on a solar generator, as it's much cheaper for me to charge the generator at night than it is to plug in the AC unit into the house wall outlet during the day. Still, it's perfect on those summer afternoons when it gets hot in the house.
The last thing I would mention is the included window kit. It's nice that the AC unit comes with an exhaust host and window kit to vent out the heat, but the window kit is limited in the adjustability. There's only a few windows in my house where this included window kit will actually fit, otherwise it's either too short or too long. I bought the Gulrear Portable Air Conditioner Sliding Door Vent Kit ($29 on Amazon) that has 4 sections and doesn't taper the exhaust vent, so I can either put this on our 80" tall patio door or on a much shorter window in my son's room. I wouldn't say the included window kit is worthless, as it still works and does its job. The hose will easily pop off the panel if you're moving the unit around and the hose moves a little bit, but it'll stay in place when you need it to.
Overall, this is a great unit for the price.

Works well with my 2200 watt generator in a 400 square feet area
I purchased the 10,000 BTU SereneLife portable air conditioner to prepare for potential electricity outages. I was concerned that it may pull too much current when it started and trip the breaker on my 2200 Westinghouse generator, but I was happy to find out that this unit seems to be pretty energy efficient. For the first couple minutes my generator registered 25% power consumption and then moved to 50%. The extra 50% will allow me to also run my refrigerator from my generator at the same time. The unit also blows cold air that I could feel across the room - ensuring me that it will keep us cool if and when we need it. I recommend this unit.

Shipping was extremely fast; the original arrival date was 6/15 but I got it on 6/12! I’m so happy it arrived early! It was packaged very well and easy to lift with two people. Unboxing was easy, all the pieces were there and nothing was missing or anything. Setting this AC up was SO INCREDIBLY EASY!!! I was afraid it would be challenging but I was pleasantly surprised! I didn’t even need my husband to help me. Install took literally 5 minutes, it was so easy anyone could do it!
Make sure you wait 2-3 hours before turning it on, that’s very important!
This AC is working great! It really cools down the room. I had to put a hoodie on it got so cold! This AC is absolutely fantastic and wonderful for apartments! I really love it’s sleek design. Comes with a nice remote, too. I highly recommend this AC! Just a warning though, it is a bit noisy. However I find that ALL AC units especially portables are noisy. I personally don’t care about the noise, it cools down the room and works well so the noise level doesn’t bother me but just be aware.

I am so glad I purchased this AC. I spent days researching different portable AC units and reading countless reviews. This AC had the best reviews out of every unit on Amazon. I decided to give it a chance and order it, hoping the best.
