SwitchBot Motion Sensor can detect your body movement. Connected with SwitchBot Bot, it triggers SwitchBot Bot to turn your lights on/off automatically.
Sensitivity settings adjustable
Sense your movements
With a detection range of up to 30 ft (9m), 110° horizontally, and 55° vertically, it can detect your body movements in a wide area.
Don't worry about the perpetual notifications pushed to your phone, you can customize the sensitivity settings yourself! If Motion Sensor is set to be less sensitive, you will only be alerted to those conspicuous movements; a drama fly that idles its day by flying in your room here and there will never get into the spotlight to bother your phone.
Built-in light sensor
Table lamp turned off when lightness sensed
Light sensor is used to detect whether it is bright or dark in a target environment. You can define the threshold for being bright or dark in the SwitchBot app.
Connected to a SwitchBot Hub (sold separately), your Motion Sensor can automatically turn the desk lamp* off when it senses lightness.

Voice alarm from Alexa
SwitchBot Motion Sensor works perfectly with Echo devices. Connected to SwitchBot Hub (sold separately), Alexa will alert you when Motion Sensor detects your movement. If a burglar enters your kitchen when you are in the bedroom, Alexa says: "Somone enters the kitchen!" Attention: Only SwitchBot Hub 2 supports matter！
With or without the base
Place it anywhere in your home
SwitchBot Motion Sensor can be placed anywhere in your home. Without the base, you can place it directly on a table/shelf; with the base, you can attach it to a magnetic object or, stick it to a flat surface using 3M Adhesive Pads.
*Make sure the lens is facing towards the desired area and placed close to the edge of the table/shelf.

Great At Controlling Office Lights
The motion sensor is another addition to my Switchbot eco system, as a part of my smart house design. I have the Hub Minis, Bulbs, Plugs, and Thermostat/Hygrometer Plus, all performing various routines and automations, a total of 24 devices.All of the devices maintain connectivity to my network and router, and are simple to set up and manage wether its through the native Switchbot app, 3rd party apps like Simple Commands, or IFTTT, and my voice assistant "Alexa".For the office lights I went into the Switchbot app, performed the calibration for ambient light, and set up one for dim lighting and one for bright lighting. Created the required "Auto" routines/scenes to control the lighting. Now once motion is detected at the doorway the lights turn on and remain on while activity is taking place. I did need to set a condition for "no motion for 10 minutes" to assure the lights remain on while working in the office, but turn off automatically when the office is vacated.Switchbot has provide quality products for a reasonable price, they are my go to brand for smart home implementation!

Eccellente, tutto il necessario a portata di mano. Oltre al device, troviamo un piccolo ma ben scritto manuale di istruzioni, la base che può essere incastrata sia sul fondo che sul retro del device, 2 batterie AAA ed uno sticker. Davvero tutto ciò che dovrebbe esserci, anche in un packaging contenutissimo. Eccellente.

Come per tutti i prodotti switchbot, molto moderna: Semplice, curata, squadrata e minimale. Il colore Bianco si adatta allo stile di ormai tantissimi appartamenti. Le dimensioni sono davvero minime. Qualità costruttiva impeccabile: l’aggancio in 2 punti differenti non solo dimostra questo aspetto ma anche la grande ingegnerizzazione che c'è dietro un piccolo device come questo. Tra l’altro, sempre in termini di ingegnerizzazione e semplicità di utilizzo per l'utente, importante il magnete alla base, che consente di utilizzare il sensore su oggetti magnetici senza dove forare muri. Massima approvazione.

Partiamo dalla prima installazione, banalissima e molto rapida: login su app switchbot, click su "+" per aggiunta device, click su "Motion Sensor", seguire il wizard. Durata 1 minuto ed avrete il device configurato.
Per quanto concerne, invece, il funzionamento come sensore c'è poco da dire se non che funziona alla perfezione. Preciso, puntuale e senza sbavature. Il detection range è di max 9 metri frontalmente e 4metri con una angolazione laterale (o sopra/sotto in base a come si installa) di 55°, quindi 110° di angolo di visuale. Una feature interessante è il sensore di luminosità, grazie al quale il device capisce se l'ambiente è illuminato o meno riuscendo, pertanto, a scatenare una serie di routine che solo la fantasia può limitare. Impeccabile!
