As someone who values practical applications of philosophy, I appreciated the tangible, real-world examples and motivations in the book. I would call it a valuable resource for anyone looking to cultivate a more resilient and focused mindset.
If you're on the fence, I think this is an excellent read for anyone interested in personal growth, whether you're a seasoned stoic or new to the philosophy. The authors also make the book available for free digitally if you're trying to decide whether to pick up a physical version.

The chapters are well thought out and iterative. This will really resonate with the mindset of a programmer; how we break something that seems daunting down into smaller, very detailed pieces, and build it brick by brick. At the same time it will also help non-programmers see that same thought process through the lens of their everyday pursuits, struggles, aspirations, and goals.
Some of the lessons taught in this book are things I have already experienced, some are things I need to work on, and others are completely new to me. It reminds us that there is always something new to learn, learning leads to growth, and growth leads to wisdom. Sharing wisdom keeps that cycle looping.

It includes great visualizations of the ideas and practical summaries and recollections from known concepts of the stoic world with phrases and personal experience from the author.
