    My son loves to read at night and wanted a book light that didn't have one light setting. He absolutely loves this Book Light, though be warned, it's bright!He decided to give it a 4-star rating because the metal piece that holds part of the clip came off. He's still able to attach the Book Light to his books, it's just shorter now.

    This light is bright! The three light settings is a fantastic feature. The first is an awful white light. The next is a pleasant white light with a hint of yellow. The third is a nice soft manila folder color. It is not too much so that it seems amber. Only complaint is the light will begin to dim when the battery is nearly dead, however, the battery lasts quite a while. That being said you can recharge it with the provided cable. It only comes with the cable... You must already own a USB charger adapter or have a USB charging port to plug in the cable. The light comes fully charged which is great. You will get hours of reading out of it. Once it starts to dim it's time to re-charge the battery. It has some weight to it but it's enough to make it seem solid. This is not some flimsy piece of junk that will break if you accidentally lay a book on top of it. It clips on firmly and will not slide off. It is not glued to the book but grips well.

    I never thought I needed something like this until I saw it for sale on Amazon. Then I realized that getting the right lighting for reading is no easy feat. It can be too bright, not bright enough. or located in the wrong place, and electric bills soar. This little gismo clamps on to your book, and, by adjusting the neck, you can illuminate the page you are reading with just enough light There are three settings for bright light, less bright light, and light of a different hue. It is small and light, easily transferable from room to room. It never runs out of power because it can recharged through the USB port of your computer.     This isn't bad for an inexpensive light. I like the 3 options for light (different levels of warmness). I feel like it could be a little brighter, but it's bright enough. I also think the battery could last longer. As long as you plug it in at night you'll be fine, but I can't get 2 decent reading sessions out of one charge. I've had other lights that used AA batteries and they lasted way longer, but I do realize that this is rechargeable and light weight - and you can't have your cake and eat it to. So overall - not bad. It's probably worth the money - but I wouldn't be surprised if you could spend a few bucks more and get something that's a bit better.

    Also, the clip is very nice, and the arm holds it shape quite well. This would have been 5 stars from me if it was a bit brighter and the charge lasted longer.

    This is a nice light for reading at night. It is lightweight, has four brightness settings and the lamp is adjustable. You change the settings by pressing a button which is easy to find.
    My only issue is that the battery charge doesn't last long enough and gives no warning, so it is annoying if it goes out in the middle of a sentence. That's why I bought two, to have an extra while the other battery is charging. It charges via USB cord.

    we can choose from are 3 distinct levels for sure. I only use the lowest level and the batteries have not yet had to be charged. No more buying batteries for it. This is a worthwhile purchase!!
