This is a great light for reading in a dark room/airplane/train. Also nice to use in a dark car when the overhead lamps of the car bother the driver. I’ve not used it long enough to deplete the battery. I clip it to a few pages rather than to the back of the book...this allows me to position the light where I need it most. It is plenty bright although I do wish the “neck” was just a bit longer to better illuminate the whole page. Depends on the size of your book, of course, but I found the same issue with an average size paperback as well as a larger, average size hard bound. Not a deal breaker for me...just wish it were longer. The two levels of brightness and ability to rotate the light are nice features. Several reviewers commented on the loud clicking with opening/closing...it is loud but doesn’t seem to bother my sleeping spouse or airline seat mates. For me, it does not work for a bookmark...too bulky...but for a clip on reading light, it’s perfect. Lightweight, thin (for a light), bright. Wish it came with a protective case...I whipped up one on the sewing machine but for many people, this might not be an option. Highly recommend!

Received this little gem, and I was very pleased. Light weight totally adjustable. Fits so nicely on my book. Plus it has two settings. The light swivels so you know exactly where the light will be. Now I won’t be obnoxious while reading my book with my light on keeping my husband awake, honestly not like I care his snoring keeps me awake so a little light on shouldn’t bother him. Totally buying a few of these for stocking stuffers for all my little bookworms

The design is great but this light gave me an INSTANT headache and made my eyes hurt a ton. Having two settings is nice but both settings are way too bright for reading. My husband thought he would like it and he wanted to try it out before sending it back but he also couldn't read comfortably with such bright light. I am returning and finding one with an Amber light setting.

Pros: lightweight, small and the swivel head is fantastic. Love that it is rechargeable.

Cons: The light is way too bright against book pages. Both settings are too bright for reading and basically light up a room which doesn't help if you want to read when someone else is sleeping nearby. This would be a great camping flashlight or for an emergency pack...

An easy to use slide on book light with two brightness levels! I often run into times where the lighting where I'm reading is uneven, casting a shadow across the pages. This light fixed that problem!

It slides perfectly over a hardcopy front of back cover! For paperbacks, I slide it over a cover and a number of pages to make sure it doesn't slide around. The head is moveable, allowing for angling from side to side as well as angling up and down to light up more of the page. Especially good for the longer pages of a non trade paperback or a hardcover book!

Light brightness does not strain my eyes, it's soft lighting that pairs perfectly with a long reading session!
