This is more of a clarifying shampoo, not moisturizing. It removes the scalp gunk and grime (and also hair products) very well. It leaves my scalp happy, not overly dry and itchy like some scalp clarifying shampoos.

When you apply this product to your scalp, you can feel it cleaning and soothing at the same time. It’s an amazing product. Was so tired of my head itching all night long. Stopped it immediately.

The only things I would change is the bottle size and the lid. Bottle size is too small. Hardly any product comes out of the pop-up lid because the hole is too small and the product has a very thick consistency, so have to unscrew it and screw it back on with wet, slippery hands. Needs a flip top with a bigger hole.

You will likely need to follow with conditioning shampoo, conditioner, or both. I have my favorites that I use afterwards.

This product is far superior to other salicylic shampoos because they get rid of scalp grime but make my head itch terribly, especially at night.

I normally love Derma-E products but this one fell short of my expectations. This shampoo (and coordinating conditioner) leaves a film on your hair. It doesn't sud very well so I found you have to use more than normal shampoo. The more you use it, the more oily your hair becomes. I found it made my head more itchy and didn't solve any problems.

Update: While this did not work for me, my husband seems to like it. Increased one star for this. As mentioned by others, bottle is thick so it's almost impossible to squeeze out product.

After purchasing and trying many other shampoos over the last few months, this is the ONLY one that helped me. I do not know what was causing the itchy scalp, and I also do not have dandruff. I used a very mild shampoo first, then washed my hair a second time with this one. After a few minutes, I could feel it was tingling just a bit - not sure if I’m just sensitive to one of the ingredients, or if this is normal, All I know is that it was very effective and completely got rid of the itchiness. I don’t use it every single time I shampoo, as my scalp only itches on occasion, but any time I’ve needed it - it’s worked 100%!!

This to me is a much milder solution to the problem and so far works very well indeed slight cold tingling when it’s on but that’s not really a downside

Ich leide unter stressbedingter Schuppenflechte (Psoriasis), was zu stark schuppender Kopfhaut führt. Habe zahlreiche Produkte ausprobiert, nichts hat geholfen. Derma E habe ich dann zufällig in den USA entdeckt. Die "Scalp Relief" Serie (Shampoo und Spülung) reduzieren die Schuppenbildung bei mir deutlich. Dazu kommt ein schöner Duft und ein anregendes Gefühl auf der Kopfhaut. Und auch meine Haare fühlen sich anschließend gut an. Ich bin bei Derma E geblieben.
