This book does an excellent job of providing step by step guide to coding!! My kids want to learn how to develop their own apps, this book did a great job of teaching them the how, and the brilliant writing to keep them engaged and stay curious. They constantly fight over this book ;)If children learn the logic process of coding, it should help them in everything they do!Highly recommend to all kids age 7-18!!

Uses the newest version of scratch, a great introduction to kids who want to learn about coding using the drag and drop function. Covers the basics of coding which can be carried onto a typing language.

A good coding book that is based on Scratch. The purpose of Scratch is to teach kids how to think like a coder, and help them develop the needed skills to create and build their own website online. But the book is fun, engaging, and easy to use the Scratch program for basic coding. You can use the Beestar website to learn more about coding in general and other coding skill sets beyond Scratch. Good book for kids first learning code and becoming a coder!

Scratch is an excellent platform to introduce coding to young kids and this book is great starter guide to use. It gives a nice overview of Scratch and then walks kids through fun examples leading to some cool projects as well. It also uses the latest version of Scratch, 3.0, which is nice!

5.0 out of 5 stars Difficult!
Reviewed in Japan on November 28, 2021
I am not being unassuming, but I've got to tell you that Coding is difficult. I understood about 30% of what the book is saying. I need to work harder, as this book for kids!

This book is, nonetheless, a good one. it uses various tricks in order for readers not to get bored. The illustration of a beetle...It looked like a cockroach, but other than that, all other illustrations are fine and wonderful.
