Sony Bravia 2 series price in India, availability

  • The Sony Bravia 2 series TVs’ S25 variant is available in two sizes – 55-inch and 65-inch – priced at Rs 74,990 and Rs 95,990, respectively.
  • They will be available for purchase via e-commerce platforms, Sony Centers, and leading retail stores.
  • On the other hand, the S20 variant TVs come in 43-inch and 50-inch sizes. However, their price and availability will be announced in the coming days.

Sony Bravia 2 series features

The Sony Bravia 2 series TVs feature an X1 Picture Processor to cut noise and boost detail. The processor works with 4K X-Reality PRO to offer sharper pictures. Motionflow XR technology adds extra frames between the existing ones in a video. It looks at visual details in each frame and then figures out the tiny bits of action missing between them.

These Sony BRAVIA 2 series TVs have a 4K Ultra HD display and twin speakers with 20W sound and Dolby audio. As per the company, these strong speakers generate strong low-end sound, which can be perfect for movies, sports, and music.

Additionally, users can enjoy clearer, more natural sound, immersing themselves in music. On the other hand, the Clear Phase technology analyses the speaker’s response to frequencies for smooth and even audio reproduction without any peaks or dips.

These new TVs also allow users to download more than 10,000 applications and watch over 700,000 movies and TV episodes, plus live TV. Meanwhile, Google TV gathers content from various apps and subscriptions and organises them for easy access.

Furthermore, users can find content with personalised recommendations and save shows and movies to a watchlist from their phones or laptops via Google search. The Sony Bravia Series 2 TVs also support Apple Home Kit and AirPlay for integration of iPads and iPhones with the TV for content streaming.

Gaming capabilities

The company says that with Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM) in HDMI 2.1, the Sony Bravia 2 series TVs detect when a gaming console is connected and turned on, switching to low latency mode automatically. This results in smoother play, especially for fast-paced games.

Auto HDR Tone Mapping optimises HDR settings during PS5 setup and adjusts to individual Bravia TV models for the best HDR experience. The TV switches to Game mode to reduce input lag during gaming and returns to standard mode for movie viewing on PlayStation5 consoles.
