  • $\begingroup$ I'd say more important than speed is endurance. A cheetah is fast on short sprints but he's definitely not very endurable. Also he's regionally limited and I don't think he'd survive the cold winters in the upper northern hemisphere. $\endgroup$ Commented Jan 3, 2017 at 15:18
