Given the various negative effects of prolonged exposure to micro-gravity for humans, I would take it as a given that a future involving human space travel would require eliminating micro gravity. (Probably rotating habitat rings in the OP's world.) That being said, there's no reason why people involved in the space-travel industry wouldn't live or vacation planet-side, where they could be subjected to delays due to terrestrial weather events. | |
